Confusion

Confusion

A Poem by livelovewrite

Surrounded by darkness, blocked from the light

No way out, no one can hear your plight

You’ve tried every angle with no luck at all

Every move you make hits another wall

Don’t give up just yet because there’s an answer to every riddle

Just like opposite every well dressed lady is a man with a mouth full of spittle

The answers are there if you open your eyes to the world around

Answers are in every plant and animal life, every creation to be found

The sun tells us why the roosters crow and why the flowers bloom

Science tells why ants avoid water and why butterflies come from a cocoon

Human actions give us many answers to theories put to the test

We call that psychology and put it down to rest

Now if only the world could give you the answers your questions so deserved

If only we could find something in the world you have observed

I won’t stop looking until you find the magic key

The one that will unlock you, the one that will set you free

This black cloud of confusion won’t stay around for long

When we kick it good bye it will be you who came out strong
