The Rules

The Rules

A Poem by livelovewrite
"

Oh the joy of the first day of school when you're told the rules

"

No chewing, no drinking, no talking, no sleeping

No borrowing supplies and don’t even think of note passing

Raise your hand to leave and don’t stay out too long

If you do, no one else can leave because you did something wrong

Don’t come late, don’t leave early and you better have a good excuse if you do

If it happens without notice we are almost definitely through

Don’t space out because then you’ll fall behind

And in my class there’s no fast forward or rewind

In short, just sit still and do as I say

To ensure we all have a very pleasant day.
