If I Lived In a World Where...

If I Lived In a World Where...

A Poem by Livenrite

If I lived in a world where...
Happiness meant sacrifice
lovers would hate
hot water was ice
on time was being late
the rich were poor
crying was laughter
less never meant more
no happily ever after
Then I would...
Wait...this is the world I live in

Hot water is ice: representing things in life that give us warmth but now turned cold.
Less never meant more: in life, if you don't have a lot physically but you have a lot of other things- values, faith, spiritual wealth or whichever way you want to define what it means to be rich if you are poor.
