My Life, My Game

My Life, My Game

A Poem by Livenrite

As I inhale the warm spring air

I exhale rejuvinateion

The smell of fresh green grass

Dissolves all of my frustration

It gives me time to think

About my life and where I stand

What it is I want for myself

My every dream, goal, and demand

I'm staring into the field

A footy game is being played

Each palyer seems so focused

With every particualr move made

I cant help but to observe

Each team's wittiness and trust

Working together to win

Their perseverence is a must

Even when one team starts to lose

They continue on with the game

This is when I realize

That in life, it is just the same

Sometimes it's just good to sit on the sidelines and observe life.
