My Immortal Monster

Based upon my frustrating experiences with antisemitism :/

when i want to sleep 

it's hard to rest my head 

i know you are the monster

hiding under my bed 

i turn on the TV 

your ugly face is shown 

you're written on a sign 

it says "Jew, go home!"

when walking down the street 

it isn't something new 

i hear you from behind 

"you dirty little Jew!" 

you haunt the quiet night 

when you turn into flame

you burn down the Synagogue 

and your'e quick to shift the blame 

you travel around the world 

you tamper with the news 

propaganda, your vital tool 

to keep the ignorant confused 

you teach children to hate 

before they learn to love 

you draw a big red X 

on the peaceful white dove 

what scares me the most 

is when you whisper to me 

that I should not exist 

a Jew should never be 

one day i'll have the courage

to yell you away real loud 

you'll disappear forever 

i'm a Jew and i'm proud!
