Beyond Our World

Beyond Our World

A Poem by Lizardo

Beyond our worlds
There are other worlds
With diferent style of thinking

Consider your existence
The earth is a particle
Compared to the Galaxy
Everyone you've ever met
Is in that Grain of salt
Forming part of the universe

Gravity holds us tight
So that the moon
Can be atracted to earth
And the sun can atract the other
Planets

Beyond our worlds
There may be diferent laws of physics
Diferent people
What could be there?

But beyond our World
The world we created in our mind
There are other worlds
Created by other persons

Why do men try to be giants?
When compared to the universe
They are Nothing

God created the universe so that we can always remember
Who is him, and how big is it
Compared to us

This is intriguing, I like your take on the subject as well, especially
"Why do men try to be giants?
When compared to the universe
They are Nothing"
So true, in comparison to the enormous universe, we really are nothing, yet we insist that we are.
Nicely done!
