Ode To My Brother

Ode To My Brother

A Poem by lizc0123

From the womb we were ejected,
Different times, same place.
On me, your image is reflected,
Wrong sex, right face.

My soul, your spirit has infected.

Grateful that you are my brother,
No regret, shameless bond.
Caretakers for one another,
Different methods, mirror pond.

For these things, I thank our mother.

Time together has a meaning,
Little risk, great love.
Without you I'd be depleting,
Sink below, rise above.

You are the song my soul is singing.

Amazing...sibling devotion above and beyond. Me and mine were busy disagreeing...energetically...;)

Nice poem...
