A Poem by oscar
"

I leave it to your perception.

"

Fast asleep I dream of stars

That universal language, my subconscious spoke

Faith lover I understand the implecations

My finite mind tapped into the soul of the world

My relationship with God

Messiah, messiah, I know my home

Speak to me your omens

Awake my bleeding heart

Swim in the current of soul

We all consist in forms that don't exist

How can we grasp what we truly are?

I know you must be blind to see

Numb to feel

Deaf to hear

Speak to the ocean breeze

Those salty winds convey those wordless words

And my brothers you see

All live in a part of me

My sisters weep

For those who were lost at sea

A scattered dream

Where we fragmented from the united being

Love and hate entwined

Black and White

The scales are balanced so to speak

Deep down you truly know what I mean

Burst into blossom

A million leaves

All fluttering down

Spiraling out

We ripple across like dunes of sand

Mystified in awe of wonderous life

Miraculous spectrum so full

Kaleidiscope expansion breaking the patterns

Solar flare

Quasar stare

Black-hole chasm

Universal spasm

Linear equation

Bi-lateral exploitation

A monkey's space station

Maybe your limited abrasion

Listen when the world speaks

It's guidance conspired to achieve your dreams

It's flame eternal

Life fire to ignite your candle

Eroded worrying eats at your soul

Your black cancerous hatred

A traitor in disguise

So you feed your thoughts with lies

Paranoia terror

That anxiety you despise

Watch the serpents rise buried between your thighs

So your frame

Off-centered and ashamed

Vomiting malfunctions so crazy and deranged

Your rose-colored glasses have been shattered

Who you choose to be

Which brush used to paint your eyes

Whether you're buried or you choose to rise

A man once said to me:

There are many who think, but are they truly alive?

Very deep, explains alot about the inner struggle, To me this poem is like a mirror, it reflects what we see in ourselves, the questions, the doubts, the unexplained knowledge. i love it.

A fine writing, I would say. I like the fragmentation of this piece, it's like I'm reading this one in half-breath (like the way you read a poem after running). It's fast-paced, but at the same time, it's calming.

Honestly, my favorite part of the poem;
"Solar flare
Quasar stare
Black-hole chasm
Universal spasm"
I love how they're short lines, like fragments, and the rest of the lines in the poem are longer.

Basically, it's brilliant. And I suck at reviews, as I'm sure you've noticed. So I suppose I'm just saying that this is one hell of a good poem, in my opinion.
