"Ironically Phonetically"

“Ironically Phonetically”
Back in the setting of high school, I used to write all day;
but as these hands grew older, the inspiration went away.
Now even as I try, there’s nothing left to say.
Every line or poem and title seems a bit cliche.
The endings, too short and vocabulary too limited
I might as well abort; prematurely bring an end to it
If anyone can give me what it takes to write again,
I’ll meet you (figuratively) with a paper and a pen.
