A Fortiori

A Fortiori

A Poem by Morgan Storms
"

A grandmother that knows she is going to pass one night...

"

Autumn around the house

Unravels a mysterious perfection

Created in a landscape of well-arranged choas

Summer's memories seem to fade

As new laughter becomes the distant past

And warm nights go quickly

as the breeze that stirs up fallen leaves

Love is the scent of happiness

It illuminates the faces I know

In a profound opulance

Blurred into a continuum of forevermore

So my old soul can be taken gently

and bound together in my daughter's dreams

Flying away on a monarch butterfly

This poem is so soft. It just reminds me of my life and the things that have passed for me. I like this poem and it helped me look at the changes in my life.
