Fooled by my own Disquise.

Fooled by my own Disquise.

A Poem by Andrea M. Ramey
"

lying to yourself.

"

You look at me and I start to wonder

Do you see the tears my eyes are fighting back?

When you look at my smile, do you know it's fake?

That I have to pratice this smile everyday.

When you take one last glance do you see the story my make-up is hiding?

Can you look at me and just see the pain I'm suffering?!

Or have I got so good at hiding it, I can't even see past my own disquise.

When I write it doesn't matter if it's a poem, story, or lyrics my intent is to having you seeing a "mini movie" in your head. Everything I write has a story/reason for why I wrote it as I did. I know.. more..
