Oh my Carlos. I am one of those women that don't have to win an argument. I like to make my point and then stop. Those long drawn out spiteful verbal onsloughts are not for me. Maybe I'm losing some spark as I get older. You know I just haven't got the energy. I usually end up by saying, I don't want to talk about this anymore. I do like the Lucille Ball quote. She was a smart cookie. I have to say Carlos, you are wise. Don't pick a fight, keep it all on an even keel. That way you will be a winner, or at least in my book :)

I'm like you I never argue I find it just a waste of time. I usually just stay quiet and listen, which is usually my way of just thinking what's for dinner or if anything good is on TV at that moment. I do throw in a couple of head nods of acknowledgement and maybe a look of deep contemplation. But I never ever talk back. It only prolongs the inevitable. So my routine is stay quiet, head nod, and then say...you have given me a lot to think about I shall use the time you have given me to be better. This tends to work for me most of the time.

She knew a lot of things better then me that is why she always won every argument. I just lacked the wits and smarts to keep up. I have no shame to admit it either haha. Of course, PB, we must admit the obvious in the room. Women are dealing with men, and it's not exactly a fair fight for us guys.

I used to get fatigued from trying to argue with my old girlfriend. I think woman have an extra reservior in them somewhere that allows them to go on and on. haha.

haha. I will preference this by saying I'm not really the arguing type. I did once try reverse psychology by simply complimenting and showering a former love with adoration, but she didn't fall for it and continued to argue. I found it more prudent on my part to simply accept the loss in the disagreement. Which only started a new argument. I learned that I can't win for losing either. Women are too smart that way.
