Who He Loves

About my ex-boyfriend.

But I am just a crazy person.

I am not who he loves.

I believe in ghosts

I thought he believed in love

I write dark poetry

I spend a lot of time thinking

He used to write nice things about me

He used to spend his time with me

I talked about him endlessly

I told him I’d love him forever

He used to talk about the future

He used to tell me he’d never let me go

But now I am alone

And now he is alone

And I want everything back

He wants not to want me

I’d give it all up for him

He’d give everything back

Because I am just a crazy person.

I am not who he loves.

At least not anymore.
