Crash ~*~ Drive Safely~*~

this truly happend on 4/14/08

 

 

Driving to my destination was like any other day
my children in the back singing along w/ the radio
 trying to switch lanes after all was clear
a red car came from no where`n then suddenly
we're all struck w/ fear

Not totally over trying to avoid being hit
my SUV now out of control trying to correct it`n not let it roll
My babies screams from the back seat was deafening to me
I felt sick
 What if today was it for me
All I could think was please let them be safe
Dont leave them on the side of a road w/out their mother today
My angels,my life, just please let them be alright
Some how some way w/ a 65 mile hour crash into a jagged rock wall
we're all okay
My babies, a few minor bruises `n scrapes but otherwise safe
Thank god for booster seats `n seat belts
 The worse out of the crash was me
I'd  like to confront the b*****d that drove like that
Please for the love of life itself, drive respectfully
I'm thankful to the ladies `n the gentleman who stopped to help
they helped calm my children until aid came to the scene
If ever there were angels sent to help they were there that day
I fully believe in miracles,because I shouldn't have walked away

Author's Note

the car that caused the wreck took off, there was damage to his car from hitting me. Apparently he was fine enough to flee the scene... WTH is wrong w/ people today?! You can not be in that big of a hurry to get somewhere.....the kids `n I are okay THANKFULLY it could've been worse.

What a horrifying experience. I am glad everyone was alright. When I was young and dumb I did a 180 into a tree doing about 120. I was damn lucky to even lived through that. But I was even luckier the only thing that happen to me was a bruise from the seat beat across me lap. This was in a 71 Le Mans not air bags any feature such as that. I hope you and your kids are all well and safe now.

yes Tamme I would agree, a parent being w/out their children is just as sad
I am also thankful everyone is okay`n trust me I AM on the hunt for the guy

When i was reading that, I thought of sadder then the children being left without a mother, would a mother left without her children. That is probably my greatest fear. I glad that you are all ok. Now it's time to start a manhunt for that @$$HoL3!
This would pull emotions out anyone, great writing.
