Who I Am?

Who I Am?

A Poem by luciddreamer

Somedays I wake up and don't know where I am

Some nights I walk the floors and wonder who I am

Some words that come through my mouth scare the one I am

Some thoughts that fly through my mind terrifies this thing I am

Some actions seem so silly, cries the shell I am

Some decisions turn so deadly, heart feels the pain I am
Some lessons are to hard, shouts the team I am

Some day I hope to meet her the one I truly am

I like the way you ended this a lot. Very nicely written poem with a great structure and rhythm. Good job.

sometimes i come here to clear my literary palette.
Brilliantly you can read the last words first and get almost a different message.
8 lines of pure thought provoking action.

Sadly we are always a mystery even to ourselves.. never knowing how we will react until we are faced with the dilemma. You have found a voice, a strong voice, and I suspect that your inner voice is much stronger then your everyday vocal voice..
Super job, letting it out..
