sad reminders

A Poem by brenda

When I look at you, I still can see

The last spark in your eyes,

That sickness killed you.

Now your photo stands in my drawer,

Mocking on having the opportunity of seeing you,

That opportunity was wasted by me.

Feelings are renewing each time…

My life takes a turn.

Seeing all faces on one day,

Knowing that I will be the last to see them

It is unbearable.

I’m going to cry, I am going to cry now

Not let people see my weakness

I will probably cry a puddle now, than on the last time cry an ocean

You are ok now right?

You got your life

Your dreams come true

Ill be gone now

The mocking stopped

Now, the invisible me, has gone away

I am going to be strong

Take over any challenge

Even if the last tear will be for you.
