Failure

Failure

A Poem by Indra's Child

(Chorus:
(You see all you know
(Experienced through your window
(Of limited view
Tired eyes look at what seems to be the sun
Realization strikes
It's only a fluorescent light to turn off
And go back to being dead
Lonely thoughts float in my head
Fly through the sky next to the moon
Now I'll wake up. See,
It takes a lot of energy, being dead-
And even more to stay there,
So I'll leave you sitting here on the floor with what I said
Impulse grows mind.
A strangely familiar star, his connection mine.
I wait for it to be over- it's not real.
Just your f*****g memory.
Sitting on a shelf collecting dust, but still
Well honestly, in truth and ironically I see
That you might have been the most real thing I've ever had
Morning dies alone.
My head is two miles wide,
Incoherent- vague...
Problems execute themselves through the guitar that I play
F**k world peace-
It only brings negativity when the protesting promoters are strung out
On debating their devotion to the devine delusion
Wholly undivided attention, pessimistic indecision,
In definition? we live in a world where it's one for all and all for themselves
And nobody gives a damn if you fall
Because if you do, you're unnoticed as you're trampled

About
I just want to wake up from the dream. "Hi. It's me. I know you're out there. I can feel you now. I imagine you can also feel me. You won't have to search for me anymore. I'm done running. Done hid.. more..
