You Think?

You Think?

A Poem by Indra's Child
"

I do...

"
Spell out my mentality, why don't you- -have a seat on my mind couch and make yourself at home. Peruse my library of old vynil do's and did's. Read through my shelf of deep regrets.
Look through my videos of old times and long forgotten's
Listen through my tapes of bittersweet and rotten, I've thought them, and fought them
But you just hover there, wondering. Looking at me wistfully without ever sitting down. Because you skipped it all. You're now laying down. Only glancing at every cover, past the midnight wind and under the mid-morning trouble.
Deep in the sheets you're laying in, Staring past the rubble of a night spent with a stranger, Peering past the wrinkles in the pillow and the used condoms everywhere
Looking at the floor, feeling too hungover for danger I'm not the one vomiting in a corner,
I'm not the one cutting my teeth on me, And I'm not the one being dramatic. Yet you still lie there, waiting. Judging me for the things you've only heard about. So get the f**k out..
