the thoughts of a girl .

she look's in the mirror everyday.

she hate's that she look's this way.

she want's to change what people say. 

she is trying to run away.

but the scar's never fade they alway's stay.

she will always just lay.

lay and stare away.

she is waiting for that day.

that all her thoughts will go away.

but god is making her pay.

pay for what she has done today.

to her body in this way.

he says "for such a sin; you must pay."

she look's in the mirror everyday.

she want's to change what people say.

she is really just trying to run away.

I think the big question this piece poses in my mind, is; what does the person reflected in the mirror believe God is telling her she is sinning about? I would think if that could be fathomed and found to be a false accusation, then the outcome would be positive and the need to run away less.
A great poem that makes one think! =)
