29-30

A Poem by Mary
"

Ever dreamt of a new beginning?

"

The peace is buried,
Don’t bother to commune
The shadows are long
And bodies are no longer immune

We’ve swallowed it and poured it out
Our pride and our truths
You wanted your solitude
And you got what you wished for
A life your you and death for them

A tragic miracle and great misunderstanding
A good wish morphing into bad reality
They’ve not arrived, but the sea is static
Don’t hide in the basement, get up to the attic

Fix the world, and it falls apart for the 29th time
You think the cycles of of Saturn will never be mine
But I’ll put it back together,
For the first time making it right
It’ll only be for me, not for others to keep

I’ll roam, I’ll roam...
...only to find out I am not alone
Alright – this is a free entry to Earth
I’ll gather them ‘round

And welcome them to real first day of their lives.

I think it's a good start, but it could still use a little a little work, as with the line: "A life your you and death for them."

I am vexed by it...
Good beginning, though.
Keep writing, always!
