Don't try to understand

Don't try to understand

A Poem by Jasmine A. Mack
"

don't think about it

"
If the world was a box. I would be a little person. I would live in this box. Yea, I would.
If my hair was spaghetti, I would try and eat it. Yea, I could.
Maybe if I was a bubble, i could fly way out to space. And meet a handsome monkey, with a handsome monkey face.
We would fly back to Spain and eat ice cream with our noses!
Only if birds had human toes!
If the ocean were a pizza pie, I would dust it with peppered cheese! Then I would run far away before my nose could go SNEEZE!
If my best friend was an elephant, I would throw carrots at its face.
If my teacher was a shoelace, I would tie them in a knot!
If my feet were shaped like fish and my book was made of glue, I might just sell dead flowers on the streets of Broadway.
For the good of all mankind!
I would dust the woolen blanket!
I love you too!
If the world was a box, I'd be claustrophobic, but if the world was a lollipop... I would eat it.

Wow, I love it. It's lovely, imaginative, chaotic! And I'm being a rebel and trying to understand it.

Anything possible.... DTTU is playful and has bits of humor peppered throughout.. Spaghetti hair, Shoelace teacher, fish shaped feet are quirky imagery.. i like it!
Like the last line.. Thanks for the fun ride, J.A.M.!
