The reason behind the mask

This is why I wear a mask over my personality 90% of the time.

 I wear a mask because I am fake at everything the second I take it off. What music I like, what activities I like, who I am, etc. I wear a mask everywhere except in my room and band. At band, I feel like I can be myself without being judged because we are like a family. In my room, no one is there to judge me and I feel safe. Every time I take the mask off something is fake about me. I wear a Slipknot shirt and when I say Duality or Phycosocial is my favorite song because they are all I could think of I am a fake fan, but I was also a fake fan when I couldn’t think of any song so I named the first 2 to come into my mind.
