Lights

Lights

A Poem by Grey_Man
"

The diversity of life

"

Every where you travel the lights are ever changing,

appear strong or weak, blue or red.

Some shine  brightly, while others are fading,

But all are happy when they are being fed.

Walking around you see a single light diminished,

It has wealth and power, but not happiness.

A wait for eternity, just to be finished,

life a chore,  barely a means, it’s flightless.

A cluster of dim lights shine brightly,

Power low but shared equally.

Together they breath and prosper nightly,

No one could understand, not fully.

In weakness, community found,

Growing quietly with love and care.

They live together and life is sound,

For they have each other, that’s more than fair.

This was really pretty. I liked the flow of it, almost song like. Good work :)
