Fear

Fear

A Poem by Michael Wright

Fear

Where does the fear begin and end?

From inside this mind I cannot run

Inattention to all around I am lost

Unintended details care not be tendered

With all I am, my attempts fail

The hole is just too far down

Like the lies that just bind my reality

Lies to self, lies to others

My feelings for the past never change

I ought to be better and let go....

NO final words or a kiss

The tears will fall and fade away

Once a love is carried it will never end

It will be moved form person to person

Yet those fears will never be gone...
