Christmas

Christmas

A Poem by Paul Aleman
"

Merry Christmas to all

"

Christmas
by Paul Aleman

I slept in the cold,
by a church dim light-
outside on the floor,
frozen silent night.

I prayed in the snow-
in darkness alone-
for my heart to know,
the meaning of home.

Then on Christmas eve-
God opened a door-
a home made for me,
loved forevermore.

There are so many lost and lonely people and whether they be homeless or have yet to find God, Christmas is but a word. But the door is always open and with prayer andbelief all of us can enter into the Kingdom of God.

Beccy.
