I can relate to this! Some people are the kind that eat a spoonful the way it comes out . . . then there are those of us who constantly mine for the good stuff! I love how such a short poem can bring out this major work of imagination, digging thru the whipped cream to find the strawberry gems with freckles. Very original, for an everyday concept!

Small and simple things are the most precious things. I love this poem so much and my only reason is because I have a sweet tooth.
