LIV (wisteria)

LIV (wisteria)

A Poem by Marian Elizabeth
"

A poem from my collection "Between Anorexia and I"

"

Were my world a crystal globe, I’d fill it with gentle poison,

With a forest of wisteria, that like dual Anorexia, can’t decide for blue or pink.

They went instead for the ombre, distilled lilac, all that speaks of trickster nymphs;

With the curtains of poor artists made with rains of bugle beads; how secretive,

My disorder of wisteria, pods of purple miasma that outsiders cannot breathe.
