One Final Leap

One Final Leap

A Poem by marilyn 1225
"

an afternoon thought , after lunch with a full belly and a full drive... I write this...

"
I feel like my mind has reached its Prime
my thinking is more acute
though my feelings  --more painful
at this age , so fast approaching
I realize how lucky I am
to have precious Time

so much to do
so much to read
so much to love

 as long as time permits
and God allows
I will not wallow , nor weep
but with a force  so great, so deep
will---
make one final  Sweep

Gee
We do think more as we age, reflect on the past, wonder as to what time lays ahead.
Written on a full belly , hmmmm, don't you be getting fat now lady, chafing cream is awful dear !!!!
Good morning
