we talked and talked for years and years    or should I say emailed mainly------ though I did hear your kind beautiful voice on the phone  

you were so informed, so smart, had lived a lot and traveled

and knew so much    

you suffered    you loved  you felt,you ran , and you  read

and read

 you were kind to me

accepting

though we neve saw each other's face

my Canadian  man

thank you for your chatter

your kindness

you information

 your fun,  your wild humor....

your depth   and all other things that matter....

 my hope is that you died quickly in your bed

knowing  or unknowing 

how much you were appreciated --

by me

and loved  deeply by your mom 

and family

may you travel to Ireland in  heaven

may you dance the  jig

sip the rum

and  even play a drum.

may you laugh and smile

and never ever be troubled

by any one dumb

as you now, without worry

will ACHIEVE

yes his death was a huge loss for all who knew him
