look, look over there!

look, look over there!

A Poem by marilyn 1225
"

the sights and smells are abundant at a street fair, but notice the sellers as well

"
walking thru a street fair
so long ago, yes , it is true
yet memories
remain:

of one table after another
with wares to sell-
pottery to buy
knitted hats to try
and oils to see
under the tree
of creativity

but, more importantly are the faces of the artists,
the  seamstresses , the potters, and the  bakers
who may wait ,   for someone to buy-
that certain something they  worked so  hard on-- and
lost themselves in their mighty , energetic  try..

so next time you walk thru the street
and it is a Fair
buy judy's cream puffs, or eon's  landscape,
martha''s vase, and more--
then celebrate and celebrate
by eatting  hotdogs or a hoagie, drinking soda or  gulping smoothies,  and   do have another  chocolate smore..
