Thoughts while waiting for the foot doctor's office to open

women with one foot or half a leg   or no feet but stubs

are helped out of the medical transport 

and are wheeled into the doctor's office

women  slim ,lithe and fit

are pondering

which pair of   shoes should i buy

the yellow ones'? or perhaps the black new pumps 

with spots and a pink tie...

one group wants to walk without pain or wheel chair restrictions

to leap ,to fly and to jump for joy

the other group

wants to be cool, to ensure their everlasting beauty

and  to look  ultra  lovely.........like  Helen of Troy

two sides of life, the irony of life... do the second group remember to say "thank You" and being grateful as they watch the first group of women? or it doesn't matter at all... what matter is to have enough money to buy that new shoes? to have the outside beauty and guarantee it, no matter what it may costs?

Light. always two sides of a coin... maybe the second group is holding on to their youth or want to look good for a man etc the first group can be entered anytime by anyone mortal
