Keep My Heart

Keep My Heart

A Poem by Marina Ignatyeva
"

I suppose this is inspired by "Mad Morgan", written by Kerry-Newcomb.

"

Keep My Heart

Out in the middle of tropical seas

There is an island, known only to me.

On that said island I’ve hidden a treasure

The value of which no one can measure.

There is a chest, not with silver and gold

Or with such goods that can be bought and sold.

The chest, and body, belongs to a man

Who makes me soften like no one else can.

He awaits my return in a house by the sea,

Hence why this treasure is only for me.
