DISJOINTEDNESS

DISJOINTEDNESS

A Poem by Mark
"

Contemplating whether putting words to paper, given my other lacks, has any real value in The Big Equation. You'll pardon me if I think it does!

"

DISJOINTEDNESS

I have no toes,

I have no gut,

I have no nose,

I have no butt;

I have no brains,

I have no balls,

I have no NOTHING,

No, not at all!

As an evanescent vapor

Now I waft across the paper

As a spiritual raper,

Or a harmless meditator

I of words am but a shaper,

Making Mark’s upon a paper…

I love it!!! I love your sense of humor too, and the way you are able to make me laugh and contemplate at the same time.

You are too funny! It always amazes me what pops into my head to write, but jumping to it, it always seems to come out right. That the way I see this one playing out. Nice job! My favorite line: "Making Mark's upon a paper" This was the funniest line of all, well worth the read to see sharp whits at work.

Mark. Where you been? Did I make you mad. This piece threw me with the title. This one is a bit whimsical but has a revelation at the end. I like the "marking marks upon a paper" bit. Pretty soon the vault is going to run dry.......the oldies keep coming out though. Wish I'd kept mine.
