Which Way To Go?

Which Way To Go?

         WHICH WAY TO GO?

                I have tried many paths,
              But none have taken me where I wished!
               I felt most of my journeying pointless,
                And that I had wasted much time!

                      Many beautiful dreams remain hidden, just out of reach
                   Dreams in which my heart rejoiced.
                        They disturbed my sleep, with their need to be heard!
                         But my anxious mind would not heed them...

                Won't someone tell me, Who will help me find the path,
                The means to claim my dreams as realities?

                     I yearn to see them, to touch them;
                     My soul burns to claim their essence unto itself!
                      I do not doubt that this may one day be...

                Though my heart, my mind, my very soul
                 Have long fought upriver, in seperate frail boats,
                  Into the darkness of Confusion's woods,
                  Yet is Time alone my Adversary;

               Fear is no more!

            The time is now. The need is real.
                   The Woman cries out into the void for help!
                    Who will hear her? Who will come to guide her?

Will it be YOU?

Author's Note

Mark
Jola Stoklova first became known to me a little over a year ago, at the request of another friend. I saw at once that she was a brilliant poet, that her English was virtually nil, and that her translation matrix was inadequate. She needed no help with the first of these, but I did offer to assist with the latter two.

Again, stunning work! This is so divine! The quest for meaning can be savage! The journey's through life to find it, can be suffocating, in the end, who but ourselves can offer guidance? Amazing! xx

This was like a beautiful, bittersweet song.. the unfulfilled longings of dreams mingled with the courage to soar on into the darkness awaiting that golden light of dawn.. Oh, it will come.. It simply must!
