The Beauty Within

The Beauty Within

A Poem by Marquise
"

Comfortable with being uncomfortable

"
A wise man once said that the way things start are the way things end.

I can't remember how this infatuation started so I guess I'll have to pretend

I was comfortable with being alone
but your beauty made me uncomfortable and out of my zone.

So I threw caution to the wind before
you could take my breath away.

Even though their might be a price to pay if i overstep your boundaries.

But you were way too fly to me, so I had to grow wings.

Burning thru frequent flyer miles.
Like Moscow to Zimbabwe, Sandro Pe to Germany, Trinidad to Hawaii.

I'd rather travel thru your personal space than to any of those countries.

Traveling between fantasy and reality like Aladdin and Jasmine on carpets.

Garbs flowing like ocean waves when blowing in the wind.

Staying above the clouds where goddess can only exist.

Willing to lose oxygen from the high altitude for the chance to experience the beauty within.
