As I Race through the Fields on a Glorious Spring Day

As I Race through the Fields on a Glorious Spring Day

A Poem by matrix101

As I race through the fields on this glorious spring day, a gentle breeze passes that brings coolness to my face.

Green grass so tall, my feet I cannot see, rejoicing from the awe of the beauty that I see.

Ahead of my eyes a tall green hill, as I once remembered my childhood dreams, I race like a child reaching its peak, capturing the sight of such beautiful fields.

My eyes are in awe for what stands before me,

My heart pounds for beautiful she is

like scattered pearls untouched by man, that lay in its shells on the ocean floors.

I noticed her gaze the closer she came, her eyes though they are deeply glazed. Pupils dilated, and her eyebrows gently raised

she stares with shyness in her eyes, a smile that lights her glowing eyes, cheeks that blush like a rose so red, her thorns so sharp for play she does not......that cover her up from her unwelcomed prey

Her torso turns facing me, confident, intelligent, Oh how beautiful she is.

Her voice speaks, of words with no sense, so gentle and fragile the closer she draws.

Her wide angelic eyes gaze so deep as she reaches out holding my hands...her hands so soft with such delicate skin, her eyes so deep that reaches my soul

she whispers closely in my ear, my veins  flow as her lips draw near, my heart stops as I hold her tight.

the world beneath us no longer existed as our souls made love and our lips connected,

the fading sun sets with the skies so red, how beautiful this day on this glorious spring day.
