Ex

Ex

A Story by Mayur Sadhu

A girl met her ex boy friend after a span of two years post break up.

Girl: How are you?

Boy: I'm fine. What about you?

Girl: Me too. So have you got someone?

Boy: Yeah! What about your's boy friend?

Girl: Yeah! he is good, class topper, head boy of the college. So, tell me about you's partner!

Boy: You guy have got everything in him. Great choice.  Well about my girl, she is good, caring.

Girl: Oh! So when are you going to meeting her with me?

Boy: She won't come. We have promised each other that we won't talk about past flings, and never ever meet them.

Girl: Oh s**t! But I can see her photo at least! Lets see who is more beautiful. (She gave small laugh)

Boy: I actually forgot to bring my mobile. I'll show you someday else. But you can show your's one! (He grins)

Girl: Yeah sure!

She takes out her pink purse from the bag, she was carrying, opened the flap, and gave him the glimpse of the photo.

Boy: Handsome he is! (He grins)

Girl: Thanks. He helped me a lot in my harsh times. But as of now, I'm going for a movie with him, so bye, but don't forget to show me her photo next time when we meet.

She went away, trying to run with unsuccessful attempt because of his heels which made her trip, but fortunately she didn't fall.

He ran to her, hold her, until she made herself up.

Boy: Hey, take it easy. He won't be running out. Walk carefully or else you may fall on your face.

Girl: Thanks. Ok bye. But don't forget what I said.

Boy: Bye. Yeah sure. Walk carefully.

Boy (to himself): We won't meet again, but you can see her. Just have a glimpse in the mirror.

He closed his eyes, and for a minute he went into a complete flashback into the times, when he was with her, when he had the support of the world's toughest force - Love, the times when they enjoyed with hand in hand, the promises which were meant to be kept. He opened his eyes, took out the mobile, and starred at her photo, and a drop of tear trickled down his cheek, and kissed her in the mobile.

Boy (says to himself): No matter, how much else someone else love you, but I can assure you that no one can love you the way I did.

Very sad and very romantic too.
Hope she realizes that some day in near future.
Wishful thinking!

I must say that the concept is simple yet very touching and it held my interest till the end. You write feelingly. That's because I think this is a subject close to your heart.

Only one thing...there are lot of grammar issues and the sentence structuring has to be looked into to make them more attractive. After all its the language and wording that really showcases the theme and story line.

So happy writing and sharing! :)
