I awake from my sleep
scared as can be
For i dreamed that you
had drowned in the sea

I wait and wait
for hours on end
Until the time
I see you again

I shiver and shake

waiting for you

not knowing that

you were waiting too

As time goes on
I wake again

to see your smiling face

and the time is half past ten

I realize that it was just a dream

but one that i wish i never had

i then notice that i am there

laying in a hospital bed

What had happened is unsure

but i know that one thing is for certain

It was not a dream but was for real

i was floating in the ocean in the rain

I had died

but thanks to you

they brought me back

So i be with the family and you too

So that day i learned one thing

even though it may be rare

I always have a great family

and you will always be there
