If blood could be multi-coloured

Then what colour would be mine

I'm in denial, yet honest

So maybe black, sometimes lime.

If my heart could be a shade lighter

You'd take it so much quicker

Maybe I'd make you smile

We'd grow old instead of bitter.

If I could do you right

My blood, like paint, be white

But if I do you wrong

No colour could describe.
