Lying Secrets

Lying Secrets

A Poem by Michael

The secret to any regret
Is not to let it affect you now
Dont ever forget (yeah)
No need for you to pretend
That it, just never happened
Its time to, its time, confess(yeah)

Given these circumstances
One too many last chances
Hello again, I remember you, last weekend..
Im sorry for no introduction
But this week Im sober and..
I would like to take you back home

Let it rain for now
Let it all come down
You cant just float your way out
You have no where to go, but under

Lie to me, baby, take me home to sleep
Take me away and lie to me..
Its inside you, I dont know if I want the truth tonight
So take what youve learned, lay back and close your eyes

The secret to any regret
Is not to let it affect you now
Dont ever forget (yeah)
No need for you to pretend
That it, just never happened
Its time to, its time, confess (yeah)

It wont be long till, you see yourself through the mirror
From the other side, uh oh youre used to the light
Now you cant see in the dark,
But we see where your cars parked at..
We both know the choice is yours to make
If its more than you can take
Why say its true?
Lie to me take this away, and lie to me
