A beautiful poem, ma'am. Your words give the precise feeling of rain. Good alliteration and internal rhyming in the second line. And fine repetition of the word 'it'. Rain, so lovely it is to see those drops of water fall down on earth and then listen to the lovely music. The smell of soil is enhanced and one wishes to sit down at one place and enjoy the nature quietly. Keep writing.

Very playful poem, makes a person want to go splash in some puddles! Unfortunately, here in California, we haven't had enuf rain in 5 years, so I'm sorely missing the feelings described so delightfully in your poem.

In Bali, we are rarely having rain too, sometimes I do crazy things while taking shower when I missed the rain...lol.
