Black Prisms

"

Do not be afraid to let your light shine...or to dream.

"

Here amongst black prisms

the dark is a façade, masquerading false images

like emblems.


 

I gazed at reflections in shards of scattered glass

to find a remnant of some truths…

but none was  left to surpass.


 

Light sometimes fades between the equilibrium,

frequently resting inside a requiem.



Of a dream within a dream…I dreamt…


 

Here amongst black prisms

Self-refraction transmitting through

visions locked in mental asylums.


 

I redirect the light,

Facing the dark…lending sight.


 

Emitting dreams in color, setting lies afire

piercing through…

towards the heart’s desire.

I really enjoyed the imagery. Love how you took something as impossible as a black prism and made it into something that holds a great deal of meaning. Well done :)
