Autumn to Winter

Autumn to Winter

A Poem by Meliss@k
"

An allegory form poem about the taking of purity.

"
You are like the magnificent oak tree, swaying swiftly with the fall breeze.
The tree's branches are bare of leaves as passionate winds intentionally wisp them away.
There is a smaller tree,
Softly dancing alongside the magnificent oak.
Their branches gently brush by each others bark-like cloaks.
Two doves were hidden in the maze of wooden arms,
But the trees' swaying bodies encourage the doves to freely fly away.
Fall transformed to winter.
The trees aren't the same as before.
A whole new season has arrived,
From this blooming flower, they were deprived.
