Lonely in the Sky

Lonely in the Sky

A Poem by Meliss@k

The flowers of your eyes leave a green disguise,
But I hope you don't forget I'm the apple of your eye.
With the pearls of your mouth,
I'm left standing stout,
And you leave me in the night with a single shard of light.
If I told you I love you, would you grow?
Would your stem and petals start to show?
Would you drive your perfumed personality straight back to my heart?
Come back to me.
I'll fight with all of my might, and one day you'll see,
You're the apple of my eye.
Through the branches of my life, you'll see what's deep inside,

But there's my empty kite
Flying Lonely in the Sky.
