To Fall Alone

To Fall Alone

A Poem by mellophobia
"

Yeah, I know it is dark, maybe. Just random ideas...

"

There is a screen

With pictures of me

Each one getting older

Decay getting closer

And there is a wall

On which I will lean

A blank canvas filled

With everything I’ve been

And there is no time

For you to forgive

And there is no chance

For us left to live

And you were the reason

That I fell apart

Alone in the memory

Alone from the start

And now that the shadow

Is darker than night

I give you my past

If you’ll give me some fight

To stand here and fall

The bitterest fear

Time went too quickly

Time’s never clear

With all its derision

It knows we will die

Fighting to remember

A tear, a laugh, goodbye

For there is no future

If there is no past

And so I will lie here

And remember that I

I once was your lover

The greatest you had

A reason for living

A reason to try

But all things must die

And so you killed us to

You turned off in silence

And left me to fall alone

Way constructive and better way to express one's thought.
However, I loved you below lines..
Its indeed true we all are growing old.
"Each one getting older
Decay getting closer"

Better way of presence and understanding of thought :)

Keep sharing more of your efforts.
Loved it :)

Cheers!!
