its kinda dark

you say my eyes are
beautiful
yet there is pain inside
pain they've seen
pain they've felt
pain that my smile
reaches so they
wont show
pain that is hidden
by my smile
that reaches my eyes
to cover up what you
can't see in my eyes
my "beautiful eyes"
my smile's only beautiful
so it reaches this pain
my eyes show when
i don't smile
can you see the pain
that was lived by the
owner of these radiant eyes
