What my mirror means to me

I hate what you show me
I wish you wouldn't show me it
I can't help but think your false
But i know you tell truth
You reflect exactly what's told
I see things in you
That are horrid
I want to change them
But i can't
I was okay with it
When i felt better about going to you
But i guess that's gone
All those years i went to you
And said, "looking good,"
They ran away
When my self confidence
Sprinted away too

This sparked something in my head, and so i will write it only for you.

A person who does not approve of oneself is comparing oneself to another. And a person who compares oneself to another is making the mistake of thinking everyone else is better. A person who thinks everyone else is better obviously believes in a perfection. And so a person who believes in perfection will only see themselves with defection.

There is no such thing as perfection
and so there is no such thing as defection.
Stop fooling yourself and love your reflection
Or you will waste your life drowning in self created rejection

Allot of girls feel this way, but please remember, pop Culture does not define you, it you who defines you, and you have the power to be a beautiful person. Just start on the inside. I can see from just meeting you, you already are that wonder.

Self confidence? True. Lost? False. Nothing is lost til you give in on what's not there and what's not there cannot be true. For when life gives you the worst you can show what's true and bring up what's you.
