The title says it all, really. About SERIOUSLY being ignored.

Take a good long look at the word.

Harder.

Good.

Can you relate to that?

When everyone looks at you

But no one gives you a second glance.

When no one listens to you, even when you try your best to explain.

When whatever you write is completely ignored.

When you feel so unimportant

Would anyone miss you if you just walked off the face of the earth?

When you feel that all hope is gone.

Negligible.

Take a good long look at it.

wow. this is well written and very moving. The one word lines are very powerful, and balanced out by the longer lines at the end. i can relate to this poem too - i used to, and sometimes still, feel like that. as everyone does at some point, I suppose.
