A Poem by mikl paul

untitled. starting to rain, there is only a single tree.

mikl paul

she and  time  and some sense

of  is it       here   and    now

that I set myself free      and i

want   to wreck against you   beneath

heaven         and if you will listen

I will love you         and      heaven.

        quiet quiet the precious words

and paper bending   in her hands and

when you press your chest to the

wall  I want to write about feasts and famines

and pulling you to me in the light of

morning can be both       and heaven.

how deep did the seas find you

and did you stay .            and the leaves

gather     you suck my hair dry  and

teach me how to swim        inside   ohgod

how precise is perfection,    in a tear of

sweat mistaken for rain   mistaken for

   the  right   way     and.
