Nobody Ever Appreciates

Nobody ever appreciates the little things anymore

That make us feel amazing

Like walking on warm grass

During summer

Or when you wake up at 3:00 am

And have hours left to sleep

And when you put on warm jeans

That have just come out of the dryer 

But the best feeling would be

Falling asleep in your arms at night

Knowing that for the first time

Everything will be alright
